U Than Naing is a Senior Counsel at Thanlwin Legal. He is an advocate to the Supreme Court of Myanmar. Previously, he was a member of the Union Attorney General's office for over 27 years and resigned as an Assistant Director in 2011.

As a lawyer, U Than Naing has advised numerous ministries and departments of the Myanmar government in relation to the prevalent laws and practices of Myanmar. He has also provided companies from various sectors with legal advice and assistance. Additionally, he has vast experience in representing clients before various forums and courts, including the Supreme Court of Myanmar.
