Ms. Hla Myet Thwe is an Associate at Thanlwin Legal. She started her career at Thanlwin Legal as an intern.

Prior to joining Thanlwin Legal, Ms. Myet Thwe worked as an intern at University Legal Clinic (ULC) where she had the opportunity to widen her knowledge on Criminal Litigation and Court Procedures. She also has work experience as freelance research assistant, and participated in translation and writing legal articles on topics related to corporate law as well as Myanmar Customary Law.

 

She holds fruitful overseas experiences by enrolling as a student representative in ASEAN and Mekong regional program. She has also participated in the legal programs and workshops arranged by law students’ associations.

 

She has substantial experience in legal translation and research, providing legal advice, legalization of documents and dealing with governmental departments for legal compliance purposes. She is also experienced in investment permit application and amendments as well as tax filings. She is also developing her knowledge on drafting contracts, civil and criminal litigation, labor related matters, winding up, as well as banking law.
